@Sixgun77 Rarely for everyone. Having spent much of the growing ‘up’ in one, the apocalypse in those terms is very unevenly spread and if it isn’t a universal apocalypse, it isn’t really an apocalypse at all, just standard default setting for us on the wrong side of the economic margin.
