@HowtheWoodMoves It’s not nice – I am too old, too ill and too grumpy for nice – just accurate. However, it is truth said with recognition that it’s a book from talented writer that devoid of genre labels, ploughs the same land as me and consistently turns up treasure.

@SydMoore1 If we ever get HookFest, the literary festival for a place that doesn’t exist off the ground … There will be an appreciative audience for that.

@onefrontier @lazcorp I am an Essex boy, but givea cultural landscape where Soul Boy conversation was often focussed around Ford Cortina parts, going Goth was the sane choice.

@SydMoore1 It‰Ûªs always a bit risky sending your astral body in Epping Forest as it is both London‰Ûªs wild shadow and it‰Ûªs murder space. Not that that‰Ûªs stopping the Hookland picnic there in August.

Hookland exists within a cloud and context of constant inspiration which is a poncey way of saying #FF @DrDFoster @msjulianneregan @maximpetergriff @carriemarx @maryswanart @johnharrigan @lazcorp @johnreppion @HowtheWoodMoves @NeolithicSheep @WitchOfLeeds @urbanprehisto

@SydMoore1 Well there will be an actual Hookland picnic on August the 4th in Epping Forest. If I am the only one there, people will say it is fictional.

@SirJasperRules The sad truth of the Dissolution is not just in the erasure or building, social-spiritual infrastructure and learning, but in the loss of life which tends to be under-represented in some strands of English history.
