@john_f_leonard I do Hookland. It is given free and freely for others to use. Free is not a bad word. However, the whole nature of some e-book promotion does have some deeply troubling aspects.

@SydMoore1 @EssexGirlLibFnt You will do brilliantly. If you want any tips from someone who used to do media training as well as appear on BBC Breakfast or GMTV once a week, just shout. But I know you will be fab regardless.

@john_f_leonard I look at people who are so concerned with building brand that they are working towards a general degradation of value to written work. Some, with their over-reliance on it, seem to be building cheap/permanently free into their brand, which I am not convinced is good for anyone.

@john_f_leonard All those that think of themselves in terms of brands have to also think in terms of the perception of value and an over-reliance on free has consequences on that perception.

@john_f_leonard The audience ultimately determines value and what is made of your work. All the clever branding in the world won‰Ûªt make a sow‰Ûªs ear silk when it comes to story-telling and the dance with words.
