I shall be testing the folklore of whether May Eve dreams come true my waiting to see if @realDonaldTrump announces a plan to buy Stonehenge an ship it to America. Note, the dream features @urbanprehisto.

Divination from the remains of a fire – spodomancy – is known as ash riddling in Hookland. The practice is much observed in finding cinder charts to the future in what is left of May Eve fires. #MayDay

@polyaletheia @realDonaldTrump @urbanprehisto All the Silver Shamrock masks are said to contain a fragment – possibly as much as a micron – but there’s no suggestion they have the stones themselves.

@SimonMagus Well the focus is always on the ash, not the cracks, so ash riddling is definitely classed as spodomancy where as scapulimancy is more common in the hill country and after the roasts of winter.

@polyaletheia @realDonaldTrump @urbanprehisto I always assume that they’ve bought the wrong henge just as those Arizonian pisspuffins bought the wrong London Bridge. Americans it seems, I quite gullible when it comes to buying ‘history’.

@polyaletheia @realDonaldTrump @urbanprehisto Given how much Kneale hated the finished version I have avoid the film since I last saw it on TV circa 1995. I probably should rewatch. However, it lives in that space on the horror film Venn diagram between ‰Û÷Good Romp‰Ûª, ‰Û÷Zero Logic‰Ûª and ‰Û÷Insane Hints In Exposition‰Ûª.
