@Skionar Pah. I am merely the sort of friend who is accurate and knows his friends well enough to know their deep goodness, their fierce talents and the fact that when they are annoyed on behalf of others, they are almost certainly in the right.

@Richard_Kadrey Lee is one of those rare actors that could act around contact lenses, push through any mask. If the character/monster is written to have a primal desire, a motivating force then Lee can manifest it regardless of Latex.

@sblackmoore @Richard_Kadrey It is deeply flawed. However, the Mummy rising from the bog, the tightening sense of siege/peeling away of English hubris and the sense of the film as an antidote to Christian sand and sandals epics all give it something. Lee and Cushing are superb and it has a great climax.
