@IrishGothic @TheGhoulGuides As my soul is possessed by an Edwardian, I don‰Ûªt really understand this language of GIFs, but I imagine one of a flock of skeletal rooks dancing around you as a form of astral hug.

@FeministRabble @GoddessR_75 @70s_party Going way back, lemons were the dowry of Hera and as such have often been symbols of fertility/good luck. There’s a school of thought that the lemon is being used to create/transfer luck into the penny and that’s the important bit to take from the assemblage.

@mylesbradley I take the view that stuff you get for free, you cannot expect to be edited and therefore it doesn’t matter. Mentoring a young dyslexic writer who is too afraid to do social media because of the spelling police, it matters to me as I tend to block those who spell shame in public.

@mylesbradley And I would like to block less people for it by giving them less excuse to reveal themselves as the sort of pisspuffins who feel a sense of superiority over others/masturbatory glee in pointing spelling errors out.

Odd traditions live because they deliver at deep psychic levels. In Hazelborne, every boy or girl who leaves the village of their birth first goes into a nearby grove and drives a nail with their name upon it onto certain trees so they will never lose connection. – #CLNolan, 1936
