@thostalk @mattneilhill While I adore horror, I am not a fan of the pornography of violence nor casual misogyny. While both films have elements that are rightly lauded such as WitchfinderÛªs use of landscape, for me both films are over-hyped and dulled by the tone of glee in their use of violence.
