Certain plants have a reputation as being ‘Devil-watched’. Vervain, commonly called Old Clip’s herb is one, the sow-thistle, is another. In Hookland it’s known as the sorrow flower, said to be one of the few plants said to grow both in our world and the Fields of the Damned.

@Beegrrrl To add to the ludicrousness of this story, @spaceweather9 wore a Life On Mars style leather jacket, I a Badder-Meinhof t-shirt and Lord Lucan badge, to give this presentation. Various Assistant Chief Constables were told they were: ‘As soft as shite’.

@Beegrrrl Mr. Nine knew one of the real DI Callaghans. Indeed, one of the real DI Callaghans actually sent Mr. Nine and myself to give a presentation on counter-terrorism at Scotland Yard. This is a true story, which proves that nothing in Hookland is made up, just remembered differently.

@DianeARodgers The new Archers’ theme does feel as if it should feature in a film which is one-third ‘Straw Dogs’, one-third ‘The Wicker Man’ and one-third ‘Q ‰ÛÒ The Winged Serpent’.
