@ScornaLott Each hand-drawn map of Hookland shifts a little and has a unique feature. The county is after all, a place of uncertainty – a fact reflected in its charting.

@psychojography My father – who I only ever saw a handful of times – was one of the thinkers behind the Thames Barrier and was predicting in the 1970s a second one would be needed due to climate change – so the whole London as the city of floods feels personal to me.

@psychojography Also, flooded London was very much a part of my childhood fears given the posters you used to see, the whole escape routes from Canvey background psychic static.

@GanferHaarFinn @FolkloreFilmFes @Iconawrites @deannaraybourn @TheSacredIsle @folk_horror @mjpcuervo @katelaity @DeeDeeChainey @FolkloreThurs @andypaciorekart @RichlyEvocative @lazcorp We are doing a lot behind the scenes in terms of deplatforming and we hope to start thinking about putting out a Folklore Against Facism anthology to raise funds for supporting some learning projects. Also, if you don‰Ûªt follow @amyhale93, you really should.

They used to say Old Clip had a ladder of thorns he used to climb out of the Devil’s Scar cavern. Reckoned it hurt him to climb towards God. If you looked carefully on some mornings you’d see scorch marks where drops of his blood had fallen while walking abroad. – Tom Rudd #VOH

@ScornaLott While I have strangely sold a couple of hand-drawn maps to Hollywood, they are mainly drawn for friends, so it isn’t outland that you might have one at some point.
